Studio Step-Up Giveaway

Thanks to Recorded Music New Zealand

The Studio Step-Up Giveaway will provide a total of 14 half day slots at various recording studios around Auckland, including Parachute Music and Big Fan. The giveaway is open to women and non-binary people who require studio time to complete a music project they are contributing to in a technical capacity.

The giveaway will be decided by a panel of music industry practitioners. Upon completion of their studio time, each recipient will need to supply a picture of them in action, an audio snippet of what they worked on, and a paragraph reflecting on their experience.

Requirements :

• Self-identify as a woman or non-binary

• Are currently working as a producer or audio engineer on a music project

• Can describe your creative goals for the project

• Can explain what you will use the studio time for and how it will help you

• Be available to use your slot between 14 June and 03 August 2025

  
  

Applications for “Studio Step-Up” are open 22 April to 11 May 2025. The recipients will be notified by the 06 June 2025.
