Studio Step-Up 2025

Congratulations to the recipients of this giveaway;

“Studio Step-Up” provided fourteen self-directed half day studio slots to music creators who required a studio space to finish a song or project. The recipients used Big Fan, Parachute Music, and Mothers Room studios.

"I worked on recording and mixing two new songs, focusing mainly on vocal recording and mixing. It was very helpful to have access to professional recording gear, as well as to have Emily around for guidance. She’s very supportive and helpful!"

"During this session I got to track drums for a few different songs of mine as well as add heaps of different synths which was super cool and fun!! I also sampled some cymbal crashes for future songs. Overall I had a super productive session that is going to contribute heaps to my project and I am so grateful"

"The opportunity to record using Parachute Music's excellent producer studio was fantastic and enabled me to hone my production and recording skills in a supportive environment. Through this, we were able to record a demo for a brand new track which will be released later this year!"

"It was great to have an easy to use, dedicated recording space, which meant I could get all the vocals down (including all of the layered backing vocals). Having access to this recording space meant I was free from distractions and able to concentrate on the task, which is essential to me being able to finish tracks. Having someone nearby to help with technical stuff if needed was also a plus. I plan to release the song once it is finished, so the Step-Up Program has definitely made this possible."
